JIN - Upper West Side , NYC

A cold night in New York City, maybe a little rain or snow - the perfect setting to visit Jin Ramen

Jin has a few locations in the city, we go to the one on the Upper West Side and there are a few excellent vegan options there.

The vibe is fun and bustling. It's casual, small and always packed. When we go we end up drinking a little too much Demon Slayer saki, but that’s a different story.

Or is it? Jin warms our hearts. Be it the saki, the brothy ramen or the general feel of the restaurant, something about it welcomes us in, gives us a little table, and fills us with warmth. Its a great place for date night.

We start with the Vegan Nan Nan Buns, which are so so good. Perfectly flavored and cooked tofu in a soft cushiony bun. Yum.

Then we often share the Green Coconut Thai Curry which is rich and spicy. Today however we also had the Japanese Curry which was savory and delicious with a little less broth by comparison.

And yes we had too much Demon Slayer saki.

Also, it was a cold rainy night in New York. Which is the perfect setting to visit Jin Ramen, because they will warm your hearts with brothy ramen, saki, and great vibes.
