Katy Perry in concert? Las Vegas? We're there.
The concert was at Resorts World Casino which is also where one of LAs best vegan restaurants recently opened a location - Crossroads Kitchen.
Where to start? The menu is… "a whole nother world, a different dimension." It's a "teenage dream", "hot N cold", and "I kissed a girl (just to try it)". Sorry that was the concert, back to Crossroads.
We've been to the LA restaurant as many times as we've been to LA in the past few years. It's just heaven. Needless to say we were very excited to visit the Vegas location.
Spoiler, it's great.
On this visit we started with the calamari and the caviar and chips. The calamari is tops. The caviar comes on top of onion dip and with chips - it feels very naughty and wants to be accompanied by champagne.
For mains we had two pastas and a pizza… roar. The squash blossom pizza was beautiful and tasty. The campanelle and gnocchi were perfect.
We came at dessert like a Dark Horse. We had the brulee and an affogato. Both great but the affogato - "you just gotta ignite the light and let it shine just own the night like the forth of july. Cause baby you're a firework."
Thankfully the concert was just a few steps away.
As we left we turned to each other and said "lets to do it allll again… next Friday night."
